With profound sadness we announce the passing of James Russell Turner at the age of 54. James was diagnosed with a terminal heart disease at the age of 52. After fighting a 2 year battle with incredible strength, James succumbed to his illness on June 7, 2026. Born April 6, 1972 in Hamilton, Ontario, James, also known as Jamie had a love and talent for football and easily became the star of his high school team. He was scouted and received many offers that could have led him to a professional career in the NFL.
Growing up , Jamie’s best friend and hero was his father James Turner Senior who tragically passed away when Jamie was 10 years old. His estranged Mother, Stormy Maracle passed in the most recent years along with his brother David Turner.
Jamie will be missed by the love of his life and soulmate Christine Jackson. Christine has been the only constant stable relationship Jamies has ever known and she easily became the most important and cherished person in his life. To Jamie, Christine was home and he dedicated his life to loving and protecting her.
Their relationship was a far cry from a fairytale but the love and bond they shared is what kept them together and that bond became unbreakable.
Jamie leaves behind and will be missed by his children and his 2 beloved dogs, Luna and Chance.

Turner… I can’t believe this. We were just talking the other day. 💔
My heart is absolutely broken. I hope you’ve found Dan, and that the two of you are up there doing what you both loved most—working on bikes together again.
I’m going to miss you, my friend. Until we meet again… ride easy.
And if you see Dan, tell him I love him and miss him more than words could ever say. ❤️
