Ashley Lynn Sharpe (Wilson)
October 6th 1987 – April 28th 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ashley Lynn Wilson (Sharpe) On April 28th 2021 in her 34th year. Ashley is survived by her mother Wanda (Doug), Father Dave, Sisters Barbra (Randy), Becky (Tony), brother D.J (Amber) And her children Destiny, Cole, Breann, and Brailynn and the father of her children Jeremey Passmore. Ashley will be missed by family members and friends including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her grandparents Gerald and Betty. It is truly hard to describe the life of someone when most of their adult life they were described as “that junkie”. When addiction took over her life people stopped seeing Ashely as Ashely and started seeing her for the drugs. Many people got to know Ashley as just that and that is truly heartbreaking for them because behind that was a beautiful, kind, funny, energetic woman who loved with her entire heart. We as the family ask that you do not remember Ashley as that woman but as the kind hearted woman she was before. Ashley had a love for her children and her family as well as a love to sing. Ashley’s laugh was contagious and her smile was welcoming and warm. As a child, Ashley was always smiling and connected with her family. She would laugh and it would make the whole room laugh, she would smile and it was a contagious smile that you could not help but smile right back. Ashley was well known for giving crazy nicknames to all those she loved, for having inside jokes that only her and one other person could understand but the laughter that came behind that joke made everyone laugh with her even though they didn’t understand what the joke was. Ashley’s life was cut short but Ashley will be remembered forever in the hearts and lives of her family and friends. Ashley’s family has decided that cremation will be done for Ashley. Due to Covid-19 Protocols A private family cremation service will take place. Online condolences and photos at jwhartfuneralhome.com

I’m so sorry for your loss. Keep her memory alive for her children.
My heartfelt condolences on the loss of Ashely. This beautifully honest tribute is an important reminder that addiction is a serious illness that causes significant devastation to the person themselves as well as their family and friends. But for the grace of God, it could happen to any one of us. May we each find the grace to help and support those people who are afflicted. May her soul rest in peace.
Heartbreaking. So sorry for your loss.
So beautiful of a tribute! Addiction is a disease, yet too often it is put as a label and the identity. It is a shame she lost the battle as so many do.
May the warm memories of Ashely the loving mom and friend bless you every day.
Warm hugs and comfort to you as you you go through the pain of parting.
This is absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.
I know you’re watching over everyone you loved .
Rest In Peace Ashley.
You’re free.
Xoxo

I havent seen ashley since we both lived in the same townhouse complex along the river, and Destiny would come visit to play with my daughter Eve. I didnt know Ashley well at all, but she was always polite.
Thinking of you all.
I am so very sorry to hear of her passing. I was very good friends with her when Destiny was little, she was an amazing woman inside and out. sending all the love I can during this heartbreaking time.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Ashley’s family and her children. She was a good friend to many and I’ll always remember the times I spent with her. She will be missed, and never forgotten!❤️
I am so sorry for this families loss, a beautiful person taken way to young. Addiction is real, give a helping hand.
Another beautiful soul has been lost to such a difficult and overwhelming circumstance.
She was much more than her addictions. When I would see her around town or in stores we would often stop and reflect about our younger days in school or chat/brag about our kids, she always lit up in regards to them, in past years they usually toted behind her in a wagon.
It’s so disheartening how she was failed by a system that should of helped her secure her health and wellbeing.
I’m saddened at this loss and hope she is now at peace. She will always be remembered as a infectiously sweet, kind, smart, witty, warm, loving person and friend who should not be defined by her circumstances but by how amazingly she treated others. This I will always be thankful to Ashley for!
May the shine that was within you here Ashley cast down brightly on your children and family in this difficult time.
More than Love chicka!
Naomi

What an incredibly honest and loving tribute to Ashley. Despite your pain you have generously shared a small part of your family’s story to help all of us see the person behind the disease. You have honoured Ashley and yourselves. May the coming days and months bring her and you the peace you so rightly deserve.
Sharpe Family, may you find comfort in God’s promise at Revelation 21:3,4.
“God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes
and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
The former things has passed away.”
