Ruby Virginia Ricker
Sadly the family of Ruby Virginia Ricker (Bell) announces her passing at Grandview Lodge, in Dunnville on Sunday May 28, 2023.
Ruby joins her husband Borden (1986), her daughter Cheryl, and son-in-law Brian Steinman. She will be greatly missed by daughter Judy & son-in-law Bobby Robert Kelly. Kim Chevrier (David), Jason Steinman (Cheryl) , David Kelly (Anne), Don Kelly (Donna), Dale Kelly (Melissa),and Dana White (John), will have many happy memories of Gramma Ruby. Great Gramma was extremely proud of Jenna & Hayden Steinman, Jessica Pickard (Chris), Eric Chevrier (Haleigh), Jillian Chevrier, Megan and Rachel Kelly, Cassondra, Joshua & Jonah Kelly, Tyler & Makayla Kelly, Nick, Brady, Luke, Borden, Gegeny, Sara & Justin White. Delighted to be a Great Great Gramma to Jack & Isabelle Pickard and Delaney Griffin.
Ruby was an active member and choir leader of the Canboro United Church for many years. She kept busy driving trucks with her husband Borden and assisting Cheryl in her flower shop. Ruby will be sadly missed by her BFF and travel companion Eileen Bunn & many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Drs. and the compassionate and caring staff at Grandview Lodge. Rest In Peace Mom!
Private interment at Melick Cemetery, Canboro. An open Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 24, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Canboro Community Center. Online condolences

Ruby was my aunts BFF. We visited her at least once a week when we came in. She will be sadly missing by Aunt Eileen. Aunt Eileen had a few last words with Ruby. RIP Ruby and May god bless the family.

Please accept our sympathy in the passing of your Mom. I have so many memories of the good times shared by Borden and Ruby with my parents over the years – fishing, playing cards and just enjoying each others company whether at home or in Temagami. Ruby was full of fun and I, too, remember many good times we had together. Happy times come and go, but memories remain forever!
