Powell, Gordon Leslie.
The family of Gordon Leslie Powell announces with great sorrow his passing on Nov 23rd 2021 in his 56th year. Gord was preceded in death by his loving partner Linda Biggley of Dunnville. Survived and dearly missed by his parents Marie and Vic Powell, His loving daughters Lacy Powell and Leiah Powell (Will). Wonderful stepfather to Nicole Bannister (Mike); Celine Biggley and Brandon Biggley (Sadie). Brother to Brian Powell (Sue) and Vicki Powell. He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great friend Alf and Gay Schaffner. As per Gord’s wishes cremation has taken place at J.W Hart Funeral Home Inc. A private family ceremony will follow. Donations made in Gord’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Online condolences jwhartfuneralhome.com

Gordon’s passing is a tragic loss. He played a major roll in the building of the Education and Research Vessel “NIMBI”. Gordon was Pat (Powell’s) and my Hero. Without his help the NIMBI program would never have set sail receiving television coverage in 14 countries around the world in multiple languages representing Canada’s most successful Environmental Education Program. Gordon will forever live on in our Hearts and Minds as Treasured Memories. Words can not express this tragic loss.
