Tracy Potter
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tracy Potter on Sunday July 13, 2025 at the age of 55. Another beautiful Angel has earned her wings.
A Daughter lovingly remembered by her Dad John Potter, Mother Florence Potter (Stepfather Earl Sharkey) and by her friend Jerry. Dear sister of Bobbi Potter (Chris), Lisa Potter (the late Rick) and Johnny Potter (Brenda). She is also survived by her Nieces Madeline (Dominik & Great Nephew Matteo), Marisa Potter and Nephews Kristopher, Melville and Quinton. She will be truly missed by all her friends at Sandy Acres Park.
Tracey worked as a Bartender/Waitress and also helped many with taking care of their homes and helping with renovations. She loved gardening and spent many hours in the last few years tending Nan’s gardens who as Nan would say “are calling her for attention”. Anyone who met Tracey will always remember her “beautiful smile” she always greeted people with that smile whenever she was in your presence and even if she didn’t know you previously she would approach everyone with that smile and introduce herself.
She fought a courageous battle with cancer but still kept strong throughout the time. She made friends with staff and other patients during her stay in the hospital bringing them smiles and laughs throughout her stay. We would also like to thank all the Staff, Doctors at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital for the great care extended to her. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to J.W. Hart Funeral Home Inc., 113 Lock Street East, Dunnville, Ontario. In honouring Tracy’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
