Nie, Roberta Margaret (nee Gibson). Peacefully, at Grandview Lodge, Dunnville on Tuesday April 6, 2021 in her 102 nd year.
Roberta Nie, survived by her loving children Joyce Roberts, Wayne (Marion), Murray (Lynne), Gail Shafley (Doug) and Alan. Proud and loving grandma to Barbara (Mike), Shawn (Sam), Kris, Tracy (Aubrey), Tammy, Brandy, Justin (Marlene) and Tara. Her legacy lives on in her 16 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Maggie Gibson, brothers Arthur, Alfred, sisters Edith, Andy by her great granddaughter Kaitlyn, and Carson Nie. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and their families.
In keeping with Roberta’s wishes and observing Covid19 Protocols private cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke ( hsf.donorportal.ca ) or Community Living ~ Haldimand ( clhaldimand.com) would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences jwhartfuneralhome.com

Thinking of Joyce, Wayne, Murray, Gail and Alan, and remembering the fun times we had at the school house and on Park Avenue,. and later when Mom and I visited Aunt Roberta and Alan for coffee. I think most of the nieces received one of her beautiful crochet items at some time as a gift. Rest in Peace Aunt Roberta.
