Mullen, Kenneth February 8, 1955 – June 9, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce Ken’s sudden and unexpected passing. Ken was a loving family man and an avid outdoorsman He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with family and friends. Ken spent quite a bit of time in Dunnville hunting and on the lake fishing. Always happy to help out or stop for a beer, Ken and his quick smile will be sadly missed by all who grew to know him.
Ken was predeceased by his father Karl, mother, Theresa and brother Michael. Ken is survived by his wife Marianne, his son Sean and daughter Sarah and her husband Corey Evans.
Ken is also survived by his sisters, Carolyn and her husband John MacDonald of Oakville and Rea and her husband Wayne Christen of Edmonton and his brother Pat and his wife Joanne Mullen of Hagersville and his brother in law Al Bloch of Burlington. Ken will also be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, Jeremy Shortt, Amanda and her husband Dan Romano, Tarah and her husband Gerard Wolevic, Adam Trdin and his partner Clarice, Jennifer Mullen and her partner Rob , Joe and Nicole Mullen, Chris and Stephanie Bloch, and David Bloch, Tyler and Cole Mullen and by his great nieces and nephews, Isaac, Declan, Avery, Scarlett, Emerson and Beckett.
A private family service will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Hagersville on Saturday June 19, 2021 at 10:00 am followed by cremation interment at St. Ann’s Cemetery. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. He was always a great friend, we had so many good times over the years. He will be sadly missed.
It is difficult to convey in words our deepest sympathy to you and your family at this difficult time. We have always enjoyed sharing time with you and Ken at the HSC functions. We especially loved to hear about his new soups recipes and how he was enjoying retirement. His love for you was very apparent and lovely to witness.
