Parry Charles Moyer December 14, 1952 – February 2, 2025
With heavy hearts, we share about the peaceful passing of Parry Moyer. Parry was a loyal husband, loving father and a cherished grandfather.
Parry is predeceased by his parents Cleave & Ann Moyer, siblings James, Frederick, Janice Hoffman, Richard, his niece Courtney Moyer and his devoted wife Darlene (nee Jackson). Parry is survived by his older brother Bill (Margaret) and younger brother John (Brenda) and by his many nieces and nephews. He will be forever missed by his two sons Adam (Alicia) and Andrew (Jessica) and step-son Shawn Tilbury (Juliet) and nine grandchildren: Makayla, Zoey, Mira, Claira, Adrianna, Braelyn, Sophie, Iris, and Jameson.
Parry had a great sense of humour and was a straight shooter. He was someone you could always rely on. A Jack-of-all-trades, Parry was a master builder and tinkerer. He will always be remembered as a fun-loving, generous and hard-working man. A celebration of life will be held Sunday April 6th from 1:00 to 3:00pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Dunnville. I was so deeply saddened to hear of Parry’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very sad time. The Moyer’s and Coughlin Families were neighbours (Like One Family) for over 50 Years in Port Maitland, Ontario. We are family and The Moyer Boys were my Big Brothers and Janice my Big Sister. Ann & Cleeve were my Mom and Pop. I will miss my Big Brother Parry and my Sister Darlene so very much and keep close to my heart all of the happy memories we shared together and the laughter. You are now with your Beloved Darlene in Heaven. May you both Rest in Peace now together. My Love Anne❤️❤️🙏🙏

Sending our most sincere condolences to Adam, Andrew and to Shawn in the loss of two very devoted parents in such a short period of time. It seems fitting that they are now reunited, but leaves a tremendous hole in the hearts and lives of such a close family! Having known Parry & Darlene from a distance (geographically) for the past 25 years, we have wonderful memories of times together – with the Moyers (especially with your Uncle Fred & Aunt Bonnie), but also their visits here to our friends’ cabin and their attendance at special events in the lives of our family. We will forever hold them close in our hearts and also commend you for the wonderful support and care you provided for both your parents when they needed you. They raised ‘good boys’!!

Adam, Andrew, Shawn & families I am so sorry for your loss. Parry was like a uncle to me and Darlene an aunt. Both your parents were so happy for me when when I was pregnant with my first child. Much happier than my own father. Thank you to both Parry and Darlene for all the help and support they both showed my family and myself when it was so greatly needed. I will miss both Parry and Darlene deeply. You boys have a ton of memories to keep their spirits alive and share with the kids. You boys should be so proud of the amazing parents you had. I know I am very lucky to of known both your parents.
I worked with Parry at the school board many years ago. Terrific guy, very capable and generous with his time and expertise. Great sense of humour. He will be missed.
