Anne Moody
Passed away peacefully, at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville on Wednesday July 31, 2024 at the age of 95 years.
Anne Moody predeceased by her beloved husband William Moody. Loving mother to Terry Clarke (Glenn), David Moody (Jasmine), Arlene Cook (Mick), Sharon Smith (Rob), and Barb Leniew (Maury). Proud and loving Grandmother to Dustin Clarke (Gabby), Jillian Peever (Brady), Brandon Moody (Megan), Drew Moody (Katie), Travis Moody (Amanda), Michael Sorge, Matthew Sorge (Elise), Adam Smith (Kim), Emilea Smith (Jonathan), Maurina Leniew (Dylan), Millar Leniew (Tayler) and sixteen great granchildren. Survived by her sister Katie Kiehl and predeceased by her brother Milan Kostelny and by her sister Olinka Sevenpifer.
Anne was an active member of the Lowbanks Community Centre , in charge of hall rentals and organizing card parties for many years. She was a devoted member of Faith Lutheran Church; teaching Sunday School and dedicated to the women’s group. Anne tirelessly drove her daughters to dance lessons, competitions and recitals and spent countless hours sewing costumes. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her many friends and extended family. Thank you to Dr. Ayoob ,Jay and the staff at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital. Special thanks to Sandy Cook for all her time and help in caring for Mom.
Friends may call at JW Hart Funeral Home, Dunnville on Sunday August 11, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 1308 Hwy 3 Dunnville on Monday August 12th at 11:00 am followed by interment at Highbanks Cemetery. Anne was such a beautiful lady and snide and out, loved spending time with her. She was very proud of her family, and loved being with and talking about them. You all were very good to her. Loved her stories of her life and jobs she did.
