MONTGOMERY, Wanda Joyce (nee Spies). Peacefully, at Grandview Lodge , Dunnville on Tuesday July 1, 2025 in her 96th year.
Wanda Montgomery beloved wife of the late Ralph William Montgomery. Cherished mother of Dale Montgomery and proud and loving Grandma to Amy Hache (Dylan) and Lindsey Montgomery (Will Smith) and great granddaughter Ava Smith. Predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Beulah Spies, and sister and brother-in-law Ruth and Merril Hunsinger. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and their families.
Wanda helped many people during her many years at Nugents Pharmacy in Dunnville and will be fondly remembered by her coworkers.
Friends may call at JW Hart Funeral Home, Dunnville on Saturday July 5th from 11:00 am to service in the Chapel at 1:00 pm. followed by burial at Dunn United Cemetery. Online condolences jwhartfuneralhome.com

My sincere condolences to Wanda’s family. She was such a lovely person. I worked with her for several years at my grandfather’s drugstore (Nugent’s) and we always had fun together! She was so kind and sweet and I loved her so much. I have thought about her often over the years and will always remember her in my heart. ❤️🪽

Wanda and my mother, Wanda Carlson, worked together at Nugent’s and were friends for many years. That was when they sold Baby Bunny Nuts out of that glass-fronted cart and hung the memorial cards from the funeral home on those glass doors. They had great memories of those years. Wanda was always very kind to me and I will remember her her fondly. Please accept my condolences.
Dale, Amy and Lindsey We are sorry that we cannot be with you tomorrow to say goodbye to your mom, grandma and our aunt Wanda. She was a kind loving person for all of her 95 years. Just heard that Wanda passed away. Our condolences Dale and family. Wanda spent many years at Brantwood Villa in Cayuga while I was the Adminstrator there. She was such a lovely person and we had wonderful conversations over the years. She was so proud of her family and it was a pleasure to hear about her life and family. R.I.P. Wanda
