With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Donna Marie Lusk ( nee Kennedy) peacefully at Haldimand war Memorial Hospital, surrounded by family. Cherished wife of Clare Lusk. Beloved mother of Sheila Gray (Bill), Paul Hare (Lorraine), Jerry Hare (Cathy), Rob Hare, Lynda (MacDonald) Archibald (Craig). Loving stepmother of Linda Chorney, Wanda Shirton (Dave), David Lusk (Loretta) and Tom Lusk (Kim.) Donna will be missed by her many grand and greatgrandchildren who have been left with many fun memories to cherish. Donna was a loving Aunt and Great Aunt to Marlene (Wilson), Lisa Chappell (Gary), and Amanda McAlonan. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Violet Kennedy, son Don Hare ( Jan 2026), sister Beulah Wilson and niece Barbara McAlonan.
The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Ayoob, the Emergency Department Staff and nurses of the 3 rd floor for their compassion and understanding.
To celebrate Donna’s life a visitation will be held at J.W.Hart Funeral Home, 113 Lock St E., Dunnville on Thursday June 18 th from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Friday , June 19 at 11 a.m. Interment at East Seneca United Church Cemetery. My favourite memories with her: Christmas Eve dinners at her place with our entire family, playing hide and seek tag with her and Papa Clare, watching George of the Jungle with her & Sheila Gray (grandma), ( I was obsessed with that movie ) helping her cook & bake cookies and cakes🍰, playing around outside making her and grandma watch me dance or do cartwheels😄 & petting the neighbours horses.
I’d also like to say I’m SO sorry for the rest of the family’s losss too! I love you all🤍🌹
