Joan Mary Kraweski (nee Hunt)

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Joan Mary Kraweski on Sunday, June 7. With family at her side at Grandview Lodge in Dunnville. Always with a smile on her face or a song on her lips, she loved her family and friends fiercely. She always took time to appreciate a beautiful flower or a leisurely country drive. She brought joy and laughter to everyone in her life. She is predeceased by her husband Walter (2018) and parents Aubrey and Mattie Hunt.
Joan was a beloved mother to Danny (Carolyne), Karen (Don), and Penny (the late Charlie). Loving grandmother of Joni, Jacob, Dan and Rebecca. Blessed great grandmother of Cole, Lauryn, Chance, Silus, Lily, Benjamin, Graeson, Eloise, Ryder and Blake . Great great grandmother to Sebastian. Predeceased by her siblings Audrey and Ross.

Our sincere condolences to Joan’s family. As the retired Administrator, Joan was a tenant of mine at Brantwood Villa for many years. We had wonderful conversations during those years and she was always pleasant and kind to those in her presence. She always had the most lovely smile whenever I would compliment her on how nice she was dressed to match her beloved red hair. So happy that my husband and I were privileged to know her and hear about her life and family. R.I.P. Joan. Harold and Marilyn
