JANSEN, Leocadia (Lea) – (nee Roijackers)
After a good life well lived, Lea passed away peacefully at Grandview Lodge in Dunnville on Sunday June 2, 2024 in her 100th year!
Loving mother to Mary Lupton (Len), Adwin Jansen (Jackie Aleven), Carla Jansen, Paul Jansen (Teresa), and Joanna Clayson (Robert). Predeceased by her loving husband Jan Jansen, her son, Martin ( Gayle) and granddaughter Nicole Jansen. Proud Oma to Tammy (Trevor), Amanda (Dave), Andrea, Diana, Natasha, Joel (Lisa), Katie, Leilani, Kai (Jessica), Samantha (Tim), Valerie, Holly (Wojtek), Evan (Pam) and 12 great grandchildren. Lea will be remembered by her many friends at the Burlington Cultural Centre as a member for over 20 years and Past-president of the Rug Hooking Guild.
There will be no service or visitation as cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choosing. Online condolences jwhartfuneralhome.com
