Death
Kenneth “Ken” Rae Hoover. Passed peacefully after a very long fight with heart disease, on Sunday December 10, 2023 at his residence of Anson Place Hagersville, Ont with his daughter by his side.
Ken was born June 25, 1938 to Duncan and Jean Hoover in South Cayuga. Ken drove multiple trucks but mainly drove for Darts in Hamilton Ont and loved helping others. He was a kind and gentle man who was always there for his family and friends. While Ken was working at Darts he met my Mother Barbara Allan and they spent the next 25 years together until she passed in 2006.
Ken spent lots of time being an amazing Dad to James, Robert, Gary, Allan, Kim (Allan) Tupper; grandfather to Dave, Brian, Gary, Kyle, Chad, Devon Allan and Rayce Tupper and great grandfather to Annabelle and Raylyn Tupper. Lovingly remembered by his sister Sharon Adshead (Donny) and by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his sister Lois Bowden and husband Jack and brother Walter Hoover and his wife Carol.

When I first met Ken he was this kind gentle and loving man. We got along great as we both were LEAFS FAN. Watching hockey from time to time on a Saturday night. Ken Always had something to say if the leafs lost or if they won. He gave me the nickname “Flip flop here comes the wop”. We would laugh every time he call me that Thank you Ken for being a great friend and for loving my kids Sabrina and James. RIP buddy. Give Barb a hug and kiss for us. Love you both very much. Our deepest sympathies to you Kim Bruce Rayce and the whole family . Ken was a good neighbour and a good friend . I enjoyed those many hours sitting on your porch chatting with the old guy . Sad I won’t see him sitting out there anymore . He will be missed Sean Meaghan Mallory and Colton 🙏❤️
