HARTERY, ADRIAN. Wednesday January 26, 2022.
It is with great sorrow we announce the death of a great warrior, Adrian Francis Hartery, at 40 years of age. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 26, 2022, in his home. Beauie, loved by his mother Debra Pearse-Hartery and the late father David Hartery. Predeceased by his sister Rachel. Adrian will be forever remembered by his brother Daneel, and sisters Christine, Jennifer, Kathryn, Deedra and their families. His care giving family, nephew/brother Justin and Alyssa will carry him on in their hearts for eternity. Sorely missed and loved by his family, Andromeda, Andy, Devon, Hannah, Jessica, Karen, Kenny, Seth, Xavier. So many more friends than can be mentioned, will remember him dearly. The family would like to thank Virginia, Natalie, Dr Kazemi, Dr Mazurek, Dr Ezzat, the PSWs and the many other health providers who did their best to help and support Adrian.
Adrian was a great man. Those he loved, he did so fiercely, and they fiercely loved him. We have received many kind words and memories from family, friends, and acquaintances. Adrian loved attending conventions for Science Fiction, Fantasy, Comic Books, Renaissance, Steampunk, and Anime. He would pack up whoever he could convince to go and another adventure would be created. He would do one of two things, play board/card games or volunteer either at the event itself, or for his dear friend, brother Atif and his family. He liked to help other people and wanted to see them smile. Like decorating eggs and hiding them at Easter for his family during a rough year. Or giving a guitar away to someone who wanted to learn but couldn’t afford one. A computer screen to a promising young computer graphic artist. So many people he helped along the way.
Cremation has taken place. Due to COVID restrictions no service will be held. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. If you wish to attend, please text your name and number to 647-637-6269, so you can be notified of the chosen date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Huntington’s Society. Cheques can be made out to Huntington’s Society and mailed or delivered to J.W. Hart Funeral Home at 113 Lock St E, Dunnville, ON N1A 1J6 or online at https://www.huntingtonsociety.ca/yes-i-want-to-donate/.
