Etling, Robert Arthur (Archie). Passed away suddenly at the Welland County General Hospital on Friday February 19th, 2021 in his 78th year.
Art has reunited with his wife and best friend Dianne and predeceased by parents Robert and Betty, brother Roy, and sister-in-law Bonnie. Survived by children, Jeff Etling (Tara) and Jennifer Taylor, granddaughter Abby Etling and brother Jack (Gail) and countless “adopted” children. W. Bro. Art was an active and well-respected member of Dufferin Lodge in Wellandport, McCallum Chapter in Dunnville and many other masonic bodies. President and Founding Member of the GCR Club where many would come to enjoy a laugh and a beverage around the fire, where no one left without becoming one of the family. Art was widely known and could not go anywhere without running into someone he knew. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Covid-19 Protocols, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Jeff and Jen, I have great memories of the early days when the Etling cousins spent time at the family’s beach and your Dad helped my Dad on the farm on weekends. Your Mom and Dad spent many Fridays nights at our house eating KFC. They are together again. You remain in our thoughts. Take care.
