Christopher David Ecker
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher David Ecker on Friday September 20th at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital in his 63rd year.
Christopher was predeceased by his parents Shirley Ecker and Webster Smith, sister Cheryl and brothers Lloyd, Gary and Terry. Survived by his partner of 28 years Shirley McLellan. Sadly missed by his step children Michele (Dale), Tammy (Rick), Tanya (Adam), Michael, and Steven. Christopher will be missed and fondly remembered by his many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Christopher came from humble beginnings and enjoyed the simple things in life. Fishing was his favourite pastime. Though getting around was difficult, it wasn’t uncommon to find him along the riverside casting away! Christopher was always eager upon returning home to share a fish story as well as the catch to back it up ! Many thanks to the ER Doctors, nurses and staff at Haldimand War Memorial for their extraordinary care as Chris’ condition worsened.

my deepest condolences to you Shirley, i had no idea Uncle Chris was in the hospital, i would have went to visit him. please keep me posted on the celebration of his life. i am so very deeply sorry for your loss.
