DALEY, Madeline Georgina – Born July 6, 1923 and passed away in her 102nd year peacefully on September 3, 2024 at Edgewater Gardens Long Term Care Centre in Dunnville.
Survived by sons Fred Daley (Doris) and Paul Daley (Brenda). Proud Grandmother of Kim Daley, Jodie Daley, Angela Calvert (Jay), Darryl Daley (Shawna), Michael Daley (Kristy), Andrew Daley (Elizabeth), Mathew Daley (Rebecca) and Sarah Daley. Great grandmother of Morgan, Macklyn, Memphis, Natalie, Evan, Annalise, Teagen, Rayna, Pearson, Shepherd, Tenley, Charlotte, Savannah, Sullivan and Zachary.
Predeceased by her parents Maynard and Susan Evans, husband Ross, son Robert, daughter-in-law Heather, sisters Merle, Mildred, Irene, Helen, brothers Lorne, Avery, Orlo, and Robert, brother-in-law Floyd, sister-in-law Iris and granddaughter Rachel. Remembered lovingly by many relatives, devoted friends and staff at Parkview Meadows Christian Retirement Village in Townsend and most recently at Edgewater Gardens Long Term Care Centre in Dunnville.
Long standing resident of South Cayuga and member of the Christian Church in Sweets Corners where she played the piano and served with her husband Ross who pastored there for many years. Family and friends to be received at J W HART FUNERAL HOME, 113 Lock St. East, Dunnville on Saturday, September 7, 2024 with visitation from 11:00 to 12 noon and a funeral service following at 12:30pm. A private interment will be held after the funeral at the Christian Church Cemetery in Sweets Corners with Pastor Wesley Devries presiding over the proceedings. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Edgewater Gardens or the Sweets Corners Church would be appreciated by the family. We are so sorry for your loss. Maddy and Ross were longtime neighbours of ours when we moved to South Cayuga 36 years ago. They were the best. They helped us get used to country living. We miss them both every day. May she rest in peace 🙏
