Margaret Ann Clark (McConnell). August 15, 1945 – February 24, 2022. It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Margaret Ann Clark in her 77th year.

The eldest of 7 children, she is remembered by Gwen (Doug), sister-in-law Mary, Donald (Susan), Diane and Sandy (John), predeceased by brothers, Ken, David and brother-in-law, Roger. She will be remembered by many friends and family across Canada, USA and our greater ‘Fair’ Family on both sides of the border.
Margaret Ann’s greatest joy was spending time with Kimberly and Alexandra travelling to Agricultural Fairs across Ontario, outside of Canada as well as whirlwind shopping trips.
Margaret Ann’s career was predominantly in Food Services for health care. After almost 40 years at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, she retired in 2012.

Margaret Ann was devoted and instrumental in the longevity of the Dunnville Agricultural Fair, playing many roles over the years. She was the 1999 Citizen of the year for Dunnville, awarded the Queens Golden Jubilee in 2002 and in 2017 became the Haldimand County Volunteer of the year as well as the Children Nutrition Network Award of Merit. Additionally she was a respected member of the Ontario Association of Agricultural Society being involved with District 6 as Provincial Homecraft Representative and Provincial Homecraft President in 2006. Margaret Ann will be well remembered for all of her contributions over the many years.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Should you wish to express sympathy, a donation to the Dunnville Fair, AVA Cat Rescue (Hamilton), Knox Presbyterian Dunnville, CNN school snack program would be appreciated. Thank you to the staff of Aspen Terrace for their compassion and care of Margaret during her time at St Peters Residence.
