David Caughell passed suddenly yet peacefully at his home Saturday May 11, 2024 in his 71st year. Predeceased by his parents Virgil and Maurice, son-in-law Randy and sister Mildred.
Loving husband to Deborah Caughell for 48 years. Beloved father to Pam ( Randy +), Julie (Ron), Terri (Mike), Heather (Charles) and his trusty canine sidekick Jed. Crazy Papa to Kaleb, Gage, and Luke. Lovingly remembered by his siblings Wallace, Linda, Sandra, Gloria, Lawrence, Russell and their spouses. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families. Sadly missed by his best friends Ron Rowe and Ross Deamude.
David was an avid outdoorsman and was active in numerous organizations. David was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His greatest treasure was his grandchildren, whom he enjoyed investing as much of his time in them as possible. Teaching them unique lessons, illustrated with grand stories of amazing adventures!
Celebration of Life will be held at Dave’s home 783 Aikens Road Dunnville on Saturday June 29th from 2:00 pm on.

I never knew Dave but I do know someone who was very close to him. He built a beautiful family. He is loved very much and he will be missed by everyone he took care of. May he rest with the peace and warmth he shared.

Dave was a great neighbor for many years. He taught my brother and I so much over the years as we grew up, how to use a gun and gun safety among other important things. I still remember hanging out in his garage playing golf on his PlayStation, checking out the animals he would widdle, or just talk about hunting and trapping. My first bit of work experience came from helping him with his small business. He was one of the greatest neighbors you could ask for and he helped shape me into the person I’ve become. He will be greatly missed.

Sooo sorry to hear of Dave’s (Kahuna) passing grew up with him and hung out with him as a teenager. Worked with 3 of his daughters for many years. RIP Dave you will be missed. Deepest condolences Debbie and family. Karen
We are so sorry Debbie, Pam, Julie, Terry and Heather and your families. Many fun and crazy times were shared between Dave and Randy as kids and their friendship carried over into adulthood. They were diligent with contacting each other on their birthdays every year. Randy will miss that call. Dave was proud of you girls and the love of his life, Debbie. He was such a proud Papa to his grandsons. Rest peacefully Dave, the memories will live on.

My sincere and deepest condolences. To you Deb and to Daves 4 lovely daughters Pam, Julie ,Terri and Heather and there partners in life and his 3 grandkids. Moving to Dunnville and finding a job at a factory I am blessed that Dave and my paths crossed. It was an epic journey from the great friendship to the knowledge we both shared. An awesome family man and I learned a lot from that. Some great memories from hunting trips to stories in the garage.I know Dave will be missed buy all who knew him .
