Gary James Brown. We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Gary, at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital on Monday February 5, 2024 in his 82nd year.
Gary Brown loving father to Terry and his wife Mary and the late Stacey Brown. Sadly missed by his beloved friend and companion Pat Griffin. Predeceased by siblings Ernie (Betty), Viola (John), Jean (Jack), Roy (Gloria). Fondly remembered by his extended family, nieces, nephews and by his many dear friends.
Gary worked at Lundy’s Steel and later in life donned the red shirt and was the epitome of the Helpful Hardware Man at Grand Erie Home Hardware where he worked until retirement. Many customers sought Gary out to help with projects or find that elusive item. Gary enjoyed time with friends and family and was always eager to engage in chat and catch up on life’s events. He was a spiritual man who was confident in his faith.
Friends may call at JW Hart Funeral Home, Dunnville on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday February 10, 2024 at 11:00 am followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Dunnville. Memorial donations to Alzheimers Society, Diabetes Canada, or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences jwhartfuneralhome.com
