Dorothy Louise Bird June 5, 1926 ~ November 20, 2024
Beloved wife of the late James “Jim” Bird. Loving mother to Lynda Dunsford (John), Dana Prashaw, and Peg Bird. Predeceased by her son David. Proud and loving Grandma to Aaron (Catherine), Julie (Roger), Brendon, Darcy (Colleen), Rob (Kodid), Shannon and Great Nana to 11. Sadly missed by her brother-in-law Robert Bird.
Dorothy loved her travels with Jim and they were fortunate to experience many destinations. She was very artistic and excelled at painting which she thoroughly enjoyed. Her creativity extended to sewing and she created many outfits for her family. Dorothy was a member of the Sweet Adelines and a member of Grace United Choir for many years.
Friends are invited to join the family in Celebrating Dorothy’s life on Saturday November 30th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the Lillian Allan Hall of Grace United Church, 301 Broad St. East Dunnville. Online condolences jwhartfuneralhome.com
