Death

Helen Bennemeer (Goit)
August 21, 1954 – July 30, 2024
Proud mother, grandmother, wife, and friend to many. Born and raised a farm girl, Helen showed that steely strength her entire life. She had a passion for horses and a love of baking (especially those famous chewy butter tarts). Her grandkids were her entire world and she loved them fiercely.
Helen is survived by her husband, Frank of 50 years; daughter Jackie (Brody); grandchildren Brynn, Isla and Blake; and many extended family members and friends. She is predeceased by her oldest daughter, Paula (2005).

Dear Frank and Jackie,
I am so sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. She was the first friend I ever made, in Sunday School in Byng. We spent many happy hours riding together as teens, she on Sun Briar and me on Glory. She was the friend that it didn’t matter how long it had been since we last spoke, it was easy and comfortable as if it were yesterday. She was indeed every inch a country girl. She will be dearly missed.
