It is with great sadness that the family of Muriel Baxter announce her passing on August 15, 2022 at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital Dunnville.
It is with great sadness that the family of Muriel Baxter announce her passing on August 15, 2022 at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital Dunnville.
Muriel Baxter dear wife of the late Sydney Baxter(2001). Loving mother of Gail and Jerry. Adored grandmother of Chris, Amy, Robbie, Carly and Scott and great grandchildren Sydney, Jack, Evan, Harry, Jaimie and Delilah. Muriel is survived and cherished by sister Dorothy Minor, brothers Doug Hines (Marlene), Jerry Hines (Barb), and sisters in law Betty Hines and Joanne Villeneuve. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and dear friend Pat Battle.
Muriel was the manager of the Sears order office in Dunnville for over thirty years. She enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the Casino.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Dunnville on Saturday October 1, 2022 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. The family would like to thank Doctor Blake and the staff at the Dunnville Hospital for their loving care. In lieu of flowers a donations to the Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences and photos at jwhartfuneralhome.com

Our condolences to the family. One of my memorable moments is of my dad who made his rounds to visit all his nieces and nephews after spending time with uncle George. If she wasn’t at home, he found her at Sears.

Dear Jerry. I’m so sad to hear your mom has passed. She was one of the sweetest lady I ever knew. She always had time to talk to me and I looked forward to seeing her every week. I remember the bus trips to the casino. I don’t think our dear Muriel and companion Marlene missed a single trip. They enjoyed the day and even got lucky a few times. The bus trips are starting up again, but it won’t be the same without Muriel and Marlene. My heartfelt condolences. Janet Mazur
