It’s with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Val Barton in her 82nd year. Good night, God bless.
Val is survived by her loving husband Dave of 46 years. Val also left behind her adoring family David (Laura), Suzanne, Joanne, Gary (Helen). Gran was so proud of her grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Val has always been a very hard worker who loved being with all her customers at Broadway Laundry, even though we believe she loved her “pet” customers even more.Val will be missed by all of those who loved her as she was always there for us.
Cremation has already taken place as per Val’s wishes. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers please send any kind donations to your local SPCA in Val’s memory. Online condolences jwhartfuneralhome.com

Dave & Family.. Please know how very special Val was to us girls at Good Looks. We always looked forward to seeing her come in for her weekly visit. We truly will miss her contagious laugh & the hugs before she was on her way. God bless Val.

Val was a very special lady that was willing to help anyone anytime. Our Saturday morning talks were always humorous and thoughtful. I will truly miss her as a great friend. Condolences to the family and to husband Dave.

Family and friends of Val, my condolences for your loss. A truly wonderful lady. I looked forward to laundry days to share a chat with her. She always chuckled over way I did my laundry -no sorting, no folding just bag it and go and definitely no ironing!

Our hearts literally broke the day we found out about Val’s passing. If I could have hand pick a 2nd mother it would have been Val. Her loving, compassionate nature always shone through. Going to the laundromat is just awful now, Val made doing laundry more of a social visit then a chore. May you be at peace now surrounded by all fur babies Val.
