Hines, Norman Keith. “Normie” Peacefully, at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital on Friday June 17, 2016 in his 83rd year.

Norm Hines beloved husband to Donna for 53 years. Loving father to Earl and Cindy, and Elaine. Proud and loving Papa of Eden, Sapphire, Chloe, and Jacob. Norma and Doug Bainbridge and grandchildren. Loving Pa to Jenn (Perry) Prevost. Sadly missed by his sisters Muriel Baxter, Dorothy Minor, Doris Pollard, brothers Ken (Betty), Doug (Marlene), and Jerry (Barb). Sisters-in-law Bev Cook, Joanne Villeneuve, brother-in-law Ken Moore (Sharon). Sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by George, Olive, Jim, Elsie, Don, Bruce.

Norm worked for the family business Hines Electric and then moved to Dunnville Hydro. Upon retirement Norm took up sharpening skates at the Arena which kept him close to his own memories of playing hockey and baseball which he passed on the opportunity for boys of all ages to enroll in his Hockey School which he called “Hockey Fun” and did this with the help of his friends.

Friends may call at JW Hart Funeral Home, Dunnville on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. with Funeral Service in the Chapel on Tuesday June 21, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
