It is with profound sadness that the family of Garry “David” Frost announce his sudden passing on June 26, 2026. David was the beloved son of the late Pat and Garry Frost and the cherished brother of BJ (John). He was a proud uncle to Johnathan, Jordan (Becca), and Josh Phibbs, and a great-uncle to Declan, Cooper, Paisley, and Rosie, all of whom brought him joy. He is also lovingly remembered by his uncle, Jack (Lynn) Frost, his aunt, Janet (Rick) Powell, many cousins, and countless friends whose lives were made brighter by knowing him.

Fondly remembered by his first wife, Christine (Kenny), David was blessed to become the father of Hailey and Kylie (Luke). They will always remember his incredible sense of humor and his legendary Halloween costume creations, which brought so much laughter and joy to family and friends. David was overjoyed to become a grandfather for the first time when Hailey welcomed his precious granddaughter, Ellowyn. The family is especially grateful that David was able to meet Ellowyn just two weeks before his passing, sharing a beautiful moment filled with laughter and love that will be cherished forever.

Dave is also lovingly remembered by his second wife and forever friend, Tami. From the beginning of their relationship, Dave welcomed Tami’s daughters, Emily and Hailey, as his own. Together, Dave and Tami welcomed two daughters, Madelynn and Leah, making Dave the proud father of six girls—a title he wore with immense pride.

His daughters will forever remember Dave’s unique sense of humor, playful pranks, and unwavering love for his family. He went above and beyond for each of them, whether it was helping build a life-sized robot for a school project, being the loudest voice cheering from the sidelines at every sporting event or proudly sitting front row as the ultimate dance dad at countless competitions. Dave made sure each of his daughters felt loved, supported, and encouraged to become the very best versions of themselves.

Dave had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel like family. He was not simply an in-law but a cherished and permanent member of the Fowler family. He will be deeply missed by Sue, Ray, Ange, Carrie, Matt, and the entire extended Fowler family, who loved him as one of their own. The countless memories they shared together will forever be treasured.

Dave will also be deeply missed by his many friends, especially his lifelong friend Scott. The two met in high school at the age of 17, and what began as an instant friendship became an unbreakable brotherhood. Together they shared countless adventures, from bonfires and camping trips to hunting excursions, creating decades of unforgettable memories. Scott will always smile when he remembers carrying armloads of gear to the campfire while Dave would jokingly insist that he had carried “the aspirin.” Dave was honored to have Scott serve as the godfather to his oldest daughter. Although Scott mourns about the loss of a brother, he finds comfort in knowing that his best friend will forever be watching over him as his guardian angel.

For many years, Dave worked at Girling’s Autobody, where he was considered much more than an employee—he was family. His absence will be deeply felt throughout the shop. Dave leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, loyalty, and laughter. He will always be remembered for his infectious laugh, his warm bear hugs, and his extraordinary ability to make everyone around him feel welcomed, valued, and loved.

In keeping with David’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of David’s Life will be held at a later date, with details to be shared with family and friends.
