Smith: Crystal Anne
It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, Crystal Anne Smith On March 3, 2026.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Eve Cornell and Mason Dudek; her sisters, Maryanne Smith (James, Pheonix, and Gage) and Melissa Rypstra (Nathan, Ryan, Mark, and Ethan); her brother, Chris Gunn (Terri-Ann, Mackenzie, and Braxton); and her parents, Kathleen and Keith Gibson, and Peter and Barbara Bootsma.
Crystal was someone who left a lasting impression on the people around her. She had a strong, vibrant personality and a spirit that couldn’t be ignored. She was fiery, outgoing, and full of life, with a presence that could light up a room. Crystal was the kind of person who spoke her mind, stood her ground, and lived life in a way that was entirely her own.
At the same time, she had an incredibly big heart. She cared deeply for the people in her life and valued her family and friends. Those who knew her will remember her warmth, her sense of humour, and the passion she brought into her relationships and the moments she shared with others.
Crystal will be remembered for her bold spirit, her strong personality, and the love she had for the people around her. She touched many lives, and her memory will live on through the stories, laughter, and moments shared with those who knew and loved her.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she was a part of. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in Crystals name to Julia’s Care Closet, 426 Main Street E, Dunnville, ON N1A 1K5
