Mike and family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Annie’s passing.
My deepest sympathies to all.
To Annie’s children, Karen, Carolyn and Matthew, your mom probably didn’t have a favorite child, but rather the strongest love a mother can give and loved you all uniquely. She loved you for all of your strengths and cared about your weakness and never stopped loving you no matter what. She was a Mama Bear like no one I know but the one child she had, who Annie taught to be a Mama Bear also. Unconditional love for her family, enduring health issues for too long, I feel she would live 100 more years if it meant being able to watch her grandbabies have babies and their babies have babies. I was given a gift back in 1981, my new sister, Annie, and a bond that would be stronger with each passing year. We considered ourselves sisters and talked about it many times. She also inherited a handful of brothers, a few anyway and loved them as her own siblings. We are all better for having Annie in our lives and part of our souls, so are all those animals she welcomed in. She had a huge heart and the world is a little less bright with her light diminished for this lifetime.
So sorry to hear about the passing of your sister, Susan. Sincere condolences to you and Dennis!
Dearest family, my times with Annie at family events that we participated in were calm, quiet, relaxed. She was content to watch. I’m sorry I didn’t know her better. I wished I had talked more with her. The girls loved her very much, and she loved them!! ❣️. They will have cherished memories for the rest of their lives…..
