Alma Louise Barclay November 25, 1963 ~ January 2, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved mother Alma Louise Barclay on Thursday January 2, 2025 in her 62nd year at St. Josephs Healthcare, Hamilton.
Alma is survived by brother James Barclay (Diane) and by her sister Lynda. Much loved mother of James Richard (Ashley) and William Richard. Cherished Nana to her grandchildren Caitlyn and Rodney Richard. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and friends whom Alma would have considered family. Predeceased by her parents James and Doraine Barclay.
Alma was very crafty and artistic. She hosted painting classes at her home for many years. Most people will remember her as the “Boss” Lady from Avondale on Cedar Street or from her past employment at Dunnville Sobeys. Alma also volunteered for many years with the Dunnville Minor Hockey Association.
We would like to thank all the staff at St. Josephs for always keeping her as comfortable as possible. Friends and family will be invited to a Celebration of Life once a date has been confirmed. Online condolences jwhartfuneralhome.com
