LOIS ANN PATTERSON, age 88, of Haldimand, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024.
Lois was born to the late, Joe and Lottie Patterson, in Binbrook ON April 12, 1936. Predeceased by her loving husband William Sutor, son Tim Sutor, and older brother Gerald Patterson. Survived by her sister Carolee Denholm and three sons, Tom Sutor, Norman Sutor and Joe Sutor (Shannon). Lois will be dearly missed by her partner Blaine Russell of St. Petersburg Florida. She leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Darryl Booker, Trisha, Shayna (Julie), Amery, Kaelin and Lita Sutor.
A loving mother to not only her own children but to the many people who came into her life. She truly lived life to the fullest, playing cards, billiards, dancing, gardening, and travelling. Lois loved spending her time in Florida where she welcomed many friends and family. A career in helping others was Lois’ passion as she worked as a Personal Support Worker at Participation House (Binbrook) among various other career choices. Lois also found fulfillment through volunteer work at the Wesley United Church (North Cayuga). She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all those whose lives she touched. A special thank you to the staff and residents of Grandview Lodge, Dunnville.
Family and friends are welcome to celebrate her life on Saturday May 11, 1pm-3pm at JW Hart Funeral Home, 113 Lock St. E Dunnville ON.

Our sincere sympathy in the loss of your mother. I can remember our families ( Keith & Janet) visiting back and forth over the years and a summer vacation together up north. Those were the good ole days! Cherish your memories .

My thoughts are with you dear Lois Darl’n. Thought of you last week while driving past the Bala Bay Inn in Muskoka. Our summers up north in room #209 overlooking Lake Muskoka. We met in 1990 at Sutton Group Realty Office on Upper James Street in Hamilton. You taught me how to play pool & got me hooked on country music & karaoke nights. How many years we shared so many laughs, cold draft beer (yours always with ice cubes). My first cruise with my Johnny and you and Blaine Russell in December, 2010, & visits at your Florida Trailer Park (Connor’s). Rest In Peace my dear friend!
