GRANT, Jeffrey Vincent “Jeff” (August 16, 1978 – July 17, 2023)
Suddenly, on July 17, 2023 surrounded by his family at the Hamilton General Hospital in his 45th year.
Jeff Grant beloved partner to Jen (Vickers) Tunks (Jeremy). Loving father to Ella, cherished son to Mary (Hammond) and the late Rick Grant, and beloved brother to Heather (Owen). Nephew to Larry (Linda) Hammond, Joan (late Ron) Atkinson, Stanley (Jenny) Hammond, Ralph (Deidre) Hammond, Irene (late Rod) Lockhart, late David (Belinda) Hammond, Jim Hammond, Bill (Marlene) Millar, and Dale (Jim) Ellerby. Lovingly remembered by his many cousins, friends, and extended family.
The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks for the amazing efforts of the hard-working staff at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital Emergency Department as well as the Hamilton General Hospital Cardiac Care Unit.
In lieu of flowers, a trust has been set up in Jeff’s daughter Ella’s name, and the family would be appreciative of donations made via cheque (payable to “Ella Grant, in trust”) or cash at the funeral home, or through the Dunnville Pen Financial Credit Union.
Family will receive visitors at JW Hart Funeral Home in Dunnville on Friday, July 21st from 2:00-4:00pm, and 6:00-8:00pm. Service will be held at the funeral home Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 11:00am. Full obituary, online condolences, and photos at jwhartfuneralhome.com

One of the most pleasant and patient men I’ve ever known. To this day I tell stories of Jeff showing up at UPI with coffees to check on me as I was doing the books and closing up for the night.

Jeff was a long time friend and co worker who had an amazing knowledge and expertise of customers vehicles and names etc. He probably knew more about the business than I did and helped keep things going through the tough times. He knew everyones name and had a memory like no other. A quiet guy that never complained. so sorry, Mary and family. Such a big part of my life, and the tire shop for over 20 some years. It wont be the same.

Dear Mary & family, we are so sorry to hear of Jeff’s passing. I remember right back to going to prenatal classes at same time, Jeff was born about 3 weeks after our daughter Kari. Then growing up into teens they both ended up working at Bying Park together as teenagers. I just saw Jeff downtown about 10 days ago & had a short chat. It is so hard to believe he is gone.
