KING, Lawrence Michael “Larry”. At home on Thursday September 29, 2022 in his 73rd year.
Larry king beloved husband to Brenda King. Loving father to Andrew, Joshuah, Katie (Chris), Dameon, Isaiah, and Jamie. Predeceased by his son Aaron (Feb. 2022). Proud Papa to Chelsey, Maddison, Aaron, Daniel, Genevieve, Ariel, Nefertiri and Charlotte. Larry will be lovingly remembered by his brother, sisters and their families.
Larry retired from Ontario Hydro after 30 years of service. He loved to share his passion for music and played in several local bands such as Leatherwood and Shotgun. The saying teach a man to fish and you teach him how to feed his family wasn’t just about putting food on the table for Larry. He loved fishing, and the many places it took him, one of which was a lake in Temagami which was heaven on earth for Larry. Most of all he was a family man who shared his talents and his boundless love with those around him.
Friends are welcome to visitation at JW Hart Funeral Home, Dunnville on Wednesday from 12 noon to 2:00pm with a Funeral Service following the visitation. Online condolences at jwhartfuneralhome.com

I have wonderful memories of Uncle Larry stretching back 50 years. As a child visiting my grandmother, at first I was a bit scared of Larry with his big beard and booming voice, but quickly overcame my timidity as he laughed and joked with us. As the years passed, he was always the same – quick to laugh and poking fun at us kids, with wry comments on the world around us. With the perspective of an adult, I admired Larry’s devotion to family. I wish I had more opportunities in recent years to catch up.

I have fond memories of seeing Larry perform with Leatherwood at the Dunnville Bandshell. I specifically recall hearing songs like “Out of the Blue” by the Band, and “Fox on the Run” by the Good Brothers. Rest In Peace.
