SMITH, Todd Timothy. Peacefully, at St. Peter’s Hospital Hamilton on Monday September 4, 2023 in his 46th year.
Todd Smith beloved husband to Kathleen Smith (nee McCaffery). Proud and loving father of Ashlyn (Dillon) and Alexis. Loving son of Tim and Diane Smith. Lovingly remembered by his sister Amy Pyle (Gord), sister-in-law Jennifer McCaffery and nieces and nephews Taylor, Curtis, Faith and Ross. Cherished Grandson of Ada and the late Everette Smith. Todd will be sadly missed by his aunts and uncles and extended family, his work family at Wellandport Home Hardware and by his dear friends.
Todd was a lifelong Toronto Maple Leaf fan who enjoyed playing the drums and dabbling in wood carving. But for those who knew. Todd they knew he was a man of great faith who prized the love of his family.
Friends may call at JW Hart Funeral Home, 113 Lock St East, Dunnville on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday September 9, 2023 at 1:00pm followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery Dunnville. Memorial donations to Shelburne YFC would be appreciated. We have such wonderful memories of Todd as a kind, quiet and always smiling young man enjoying Norsworthys pool and participating in Maple Creek. His friendship with our kids was significant .. the sentence always began with ‘Todd ‘n Dave’. Todd imprinted on us his love of God and dedication to Him. We remember with love ❤️
Todd’s warm quiet strength seems to have carried him through even the darkest of days. Praying you will all feel carried too
