Sensabaugh , Cheryl Marie ( Minor). Peacefully, at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville on Thursday November 28, 2019, one day after her 71st birthday.
Cheryl Sensabaugh beloved wife to Roger. Treasured and unforgettable mother to Chris and Regi (Regan). Cherished grandma to C.J., Madi, and Aeriel. Loving sister to Debi and Kevin (Bev). Dear aunt to Bob, Julia, Jeff, Kim, Tracy, Brandon, Jana, and Adam. Predeceased by her parents Levi and Serena.
Our family would like to thank everyone who has supported and visited Cheryl over the past few months. Cheryl valued the time she spent with all of you. Cheryl was born in the Dunnville area, where she raised her family only 100 yards from her parents’ home in Lowbanks. In her professional life, Cheryl was affectionately known as the “Tax Queen” for the tax-preparation/bookkeeping business she successfully owned and operated for the past 30+ years. As her clients and friends can attest, Cheryl was helpful, dedicated, and perseverant in providing the highest quality service, peppered with light-hearted entertainment from her keen Minor wit. Her aptitude for numbers and counting, along with her sharp memory, made her a true card tournament contender. Cheryl also volunteered her time within the community at the Dunnville Legion, Chamber of Commerce, and as the Treasurer of the Lowbanks Community Centre Board since its inception. As Cheryl’s mobility lessened, her in-store shopping decreased; however, she did her best to ensure that The Shopping Channel remained lucrative. Cheryl’s infectious personality, sense of humour, warm, generous, and caring nature will be missed by all those who knew her. To know Cheryl, was to love her.
A celebration of life will be held on December 7th, from 1-3 pm at the Dunnville Legion, 305 Queen Street, N1A 1J1. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cheryl’s name would be appreciated for the MS Society of Canada. Online condolences jwhartfuneralhome.com
