ROWE, Margaret Jessie Carol (nee Lutz). Peacefully, at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton on Friday September 1, 2023 in her 95th year.
Bobbi Rowe, beloved wife of the late Jim Rowe Sr. Loving mother to David Rowe and the late James Rowe (2018). Lovingly remembered by her brother John Dugit and sister Babe Varey and their families. Predeceased by her parents Carl and Bertha Lutz, sister Leah Ramsey and the late Frank Ramsey. Sadly missed by niece Carolyn Domengado (Roger) and children Leah and Ian, nephew Mike Ramsey (Kim) and children Christian and Becca, nephew Peter Ramsey (Sherry). Bobbi will be missed by her extended family, dear friends and literally generations of co-workers during her 60 plus years at the Grand Island BBQ.
Bobbi fell in love with a stray cat that found its way home and aptly named her Kitty. A lifelong member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church and ACW Bobbi helped deliver Meals on Wheels for over 25 years through St. Paul’s. She enjoyed watching hockey and was an ardent Flyers fan but always rooted for the Maple Leafs because of the hometown connection. Bobbi became a student of the game from watching TSN and even podcasts keeping up to date with current trades, injury reports and roster shuffles. Enjoying a Peach Schnapps during visits from her nieces and friends while catching up on town activities became a tradition. Finally, Bobbi never missed the famous July 1st Port Dover Parade. From infant to teen, young adult and as an elder along with her sister Leah; her last visit was 2022 standing roadside with her nieces and nephews to watch the parade. Sadly, she missed this summer’s parade due to her health. Special thanks to Dr. Ezzat and to all the doctors and staff at Dunnville and Juravinski Hospitals your care and compassion was very much appreciated.
Friends and family are invited to attend Funeral services which will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 233 Lock St. West Dunnville on Saturday September 30, 2023 at 10:00 am followed by Inurnment at Riverside Cemetery, Dunnville.
