Born in England she crossed the Atlantic to live many years in Bermuda. Then back to England for a few years before settling in Canada where most of her family called home since 1971.  Doreen loved spending time with her family and  also days at the beach. Family, food and fun activities on the beach or in the water made for great memories.
Doreen was involved with the Dunnville Community Theater as well as the Dundas little theater. She enjoyed all aspects of the theater and was happy when she was acting.
Working with the elderly became a passion for her. She owned her own seniors home which allowed her to work with residents on a personal level which gave her a great sense of satisfaction.
