Wayne Carson Nie.
With heavy hearts we announce the loss of our rock, our cheerleader and our baker extraordinaire Wayne Carson Nie on Thursday July 6, 2023. Wayne passed peacefully at home at the age of 75. Born in Dunnville to the late Carson Nie and Roberta (Gibson) Nie.
Wayne will be remembered with love by his wife of 54 years Marion Nie (nee Drinkwater), his three daughters Kris, Tracy (Aubrey), Tammy (Mike) and the absolute joys of his life his grandkids Tate, Eden, Addy, Hunter, Megan and Ethan. Predeceased by infant granddaughter Kaitlyn. Wayne is also survived by his siblings Joyce, Murray (Lynne), Gail (Doug), Alan and many nieces and nephews. Wayne was truly a selfless man volunteering much of his time and making friends within the Dunnville Fire Department, Dunnville Minor Hockey, the FFAO and HN REACH becoming not only our hero but hero to many! Special thank you to Dr. Ellis, Dr. Kamouna, the staff at HN Home & Community Care Support Services, and all of the amazing nurses at the Juravinski Cancer Clinic.
