Peacefully at the Port Colborne Hospital on Friday July 19, 2019 at the age of 87.  Gerry, of St. Catharines, beloved husband of Jackie Chymko (1997) and Betty McPhail-Chymko (2018).
Proud father of Gord (Carolyn), the late Dale (Julie) and Liana Rowdon (Tim). Much loved grandpa to Casey (Sarah), Kyley (Justin), Daisy (Kory), Dale (Wayne) and Larissa. GG will be greatly missed by his great-grandchildren Kaeyln, Addison, Audrey, Evelyn, Nora, Emily, Harrison and Rowan.  Gerry was born in Saskatchewan and obtained his degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Manitoba.  He will forever be remembered for his repertoire of cheesy “Dad” jokes, his sugary sweet tooth, his harmonica playing, Sunday afternoon dancing at the Legion and his taste for an ice cold beer!
