ALFORD, Richard Clayton March 31, 1941 – April 11, 2019 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Richard Clayton Alford, following a valiant battle with cancer on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake. He left this world to be with the Lord. He leaves behind his beloved wife Patricia-Nolan Alford of 55 years. Beloved father of Christopher Richard Alford (Fiona) and Cherie Holmburg (Kevin). He is survived by his siblings Wayne Alford (Ardley) and Earl Alford (Eric). Grandfather of Daniel, Charmaine and Nicole Ryan, Lee Alford (Holly), Sabrina Alford and Great-grandfather to Dallas, Jagger-James Jolkowski and Owen Ryan. Clayton worked for Stelco for 40 years. He will be missed by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11 a.m. from the JW Hart Funeral Home, 113 Lock Street East, Dunnville, ON. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Luncheon to be held at the Legion Hall.
