Culp, Robert Allan. Peacefully, with the love of his family on Monday July 3, 2017 at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville in his 69th year.

Rob Culp beloved husband to Kathy for 47 years. Loving father to Robert and Kathy and Jeremy and Judy. Proud and loving Papa of Austin, Hudson and AJ. Lovingly remembered by his brothers Ron (Janice) and Tim (Sandra) and brother-in-law Dave Peters (Susan). Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Reg and Donna Culp and by his brother Rick.

Rob worked for Community Telephone for several years before moving to Bell Canada so he could stay close to his hunting and fishing roots in the Dunnville Area. Rob retired in 2002 as Project Manager for Bell Canada / BNI / Expertech. In retirement Rob was fortunate to be a Partner in Riverside Marina selling boats, motors, parts and telling the odd fish story. For those who knew Rob no matter how busy he was he always had spare time to volunteer. Dunnville Minor Hockey as coach, convenor, and president, Dunnville Terriers Asst Coach, Ontario Hunters & Anglers Director Zone J, Dunnville Hunters & Anglers President, Ways & Means Chairman, Treasurer, Broad Creek Recreation Club, Lake Erie Management Unit, MNR Lake Erie Program Committee, Lake Erie Lamp Comm. , Grand River Fisheries Advisory, OFAH Dinner Committee President, Dunnville Fishway Committee, and much more. Rob who was known as the “Ancient Mariner” earned many trophies and titles fishing, hunting and Trap Shooting. Living along the Grand River for 43 years Rob’s passion was for the outdoors, but more so learning from it and spending time with his precious family and teaching them, and sharing his knowledge and passion for hunting and fishing.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Dunnville Hunters & Anglers Club, 237 McLaughlin Rd, Dunnville on Saturday July 15, 2017 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
